1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Priority First Patrol mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
The App is provided by Priority First Security Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") for use by authorised employees and contractors in connection with security patrol services.
2. Eligibility and Access
The App is intended solely for:
- Current employees of Priority First Security Ltd
- Authorised contractors engaged by the Company
- Individuals who are at least 18 years of age
Access credentials (employee ID and PIN) are provided by the Company and remain our property. You must not share your login credentials with any other person.
3. Licence Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on your personal mobile device solely for work-related purposes in connection with your employment or engagement with the Company.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in accordance with:
- These Terms of Service
- Your employment contract or engagement terms
- Company policies and procedures
- Applicable laws and regulations
You must NOT:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems
- Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the App
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems
- Falsify or manipulate patrol data, incident reports, or other records
- Share your login credentials with others
5. Location Services and Data Collection
Important: The App requires access to your device's location services to function properly. By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Location tracking is a fundamental feature of the patrol management service and is necessary to:
- Verify checkpoint visits and patrol routes
- Provide accurate incident location data
- Enable emergency response capabilities
- Ensure compliance with client service requirements
6. Your Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your device secure and your login credentials confidential
- Ensuring your device meets minimum system requirements
- Maintaining adequate battery charge and mobile data connectivity during shifts
- Reporting any security incidents or suspected unauthorised access immediately
- Providing accurate and truthful information in all reports and records
- Complying with all training requirements related to App usage
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Priority First Security Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App.
8. Data Accuracy and Integrity
All data entered into the App, including patrol logs, incident reports, and visitor records, must be accurate and truthful. Deliberate falsification of records may result in disciplinary action, termination of employment, and/or legal proceedings.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain App availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- System updates
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Emergency situations
The App includes offline functionality to minimise disruption during connectivity issues.
10. Termination
Your right to use the App terminates automatically upon:
- Termination of your employment or engagement with the Company
- Breach of these Terms
- Company decision to discontinue the App
Upon termination, you must delete the App from your device. The Company may disable your access without notice.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRIORITY FIRST SECURITY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Priority First Security Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
